About Our Practice
Our physicians deliver services across various clinics in Southern Arizona, including a fully-owned ambulatory surgery center, an office-based lab, a vein clinic, and partnerships with local hospitals and health systems. This leading cardiovascular practice is recognized for its prominent structural heart and cardiovascular research programs, offering opportunities to engage in research and lead clinical trials.
Our collaborative team offers a comprehensive array of diagnostic tests, clinical treatments, and surgical services, encompassing general and interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, and electrophysiology, along with a full suite of in-house ancillary services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver consultative cardiology services in both office and hospital environments.
- Interpret non-invasive cardiac evaluations, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and nuclear studies.
- Conduct and analyze EKGs, Holter monitors, and event monitors.
- Work collaboratively with fellow cardiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
- Engage in initiatives aimed at quality improvement and practice development.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
- Completed a fellowship in Cardiology.
- Possession of a current Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication abilities.
- Dedication to providing high-quality patient care and a commitment to ongoing education.
- Preferred expertise in advanced cardiac imaging techniques (e.g., Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CT).
