Desired availability Monday-Friday, with some on-call duties

Independent licensure as a counselor or social worker is required for this role

The salary range for the position is $80,000.00 to $84,909.08 annually, based on experience

Essential Functions:

  • Provide supervision and clinical guidance to clinical staff and interns, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards

  • Conduct weekly treatment team meetings

  • Facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities for staff to improve clinical skills and knowledge (self-harm/suicide awareness)

  • Help with onboarding new staff by facilitating training (incident reports, scanning procedures, CPST groups, day treatment, billing procedures, reasons to call on-call)

  • Support staff in implementing ARC and therapeutic techniques to help residents and the milieu stay trauma-informed

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and enhance programmatic procedures and protocols.

  • Ensure that the program's therapeutic environment promotes safety, respect, and engagement for all residents.

  • Oversee the assessment process for new residents, ensuring comprehensive evaluations are conducted.

  • Guide the development of individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each youth.

  • Foster strong communication and collaboration among clinical staff and direct care staff.

  • Serve as a liaison between the residential program and families, referral sources, and community resources.

  • Monitor clinical documentation (day treatment, individual, family) of counselors, care coordinators, and interns

  • Provide support and guidance during crises, ensuring that appropriate interventions are implemented.

  • In on-call rotation

  • Reviews and sends Incident reports to the administration and out to referral sources

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

Education/Licensure:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • A bachelor's degree in behavioral health or a related field is required
  • A master’s Degree in a clinical specialization is required
  • A license in Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or Social Work in the state of Ohio is required
  • An independent licensure (LPCC, LPCC-S, LISW, or LISW-S) in the state of Ohio is required

Experience:

  • 1 year of supervisory, intake, and diagnosis experience is required
  • Experience working with adolescents or young adults with mental health and substance use disorders is required
  • Experience in the clinical intake and assessment process is required
  • Experience with multi-need individuals and families is required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A broad knowledge of community service systems is required

  • Willing to participate in and lead cross-systems team-building activities is required

  • The ability to bill Medicaid without restrictions is required

  • A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle are required

  • An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage is required

  • Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression is required

  • Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment
