Our team of specialized clinicians serves a growing need for advanced wound care in underserved populations. We’re currently seeking a highly motivated Travel Wound Care Provider (NP/PA) to join our expanding clinical team.
Position Summary:
As a Travel Wound Care Provider (NP/PA), you will provide expert wound assessment, treatment, and care planning in patient homes and contracted care facilities across your assigned travel region. You’ll work autonomously to ensure patients receive comprehensive, evidence-based wound management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to contracted care facilities and patient homes to provide wound assessments, treatment, and follow-up care
- Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on clinical evaluations
- Perform debridement, application of advanced wound dressings, and other cutting-edge therapeutic procedures
- Educate patients, families, and facility staff on wound prevention and care
- Document care using EHR in compliance with regulatory and billing standards
- Collaborate with our home health and facility partners to coordinate optimal care plans
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of wound care best practices, products, and protocols
- Always maintain open lines of communication with clinical and operational leadership
Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP)/ Physician Assistant (PA) license in any or all the following. Arkansas, Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma
- Board Certification
- Current/Previous admission privileges to a hospital (required)
- Wound care certification (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in wound care (preferred)
- Willingness to travel extensively (required)
- Overnight travel as required
- Strong clinical judgment and independent decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- DEA license or the ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
