This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive support to K-12 students within a dynamic school setting in Sacramento, CA. Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) license for California
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators and families
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and implement tailored speech and language therapy plans
Position Details:
- Location: Sacramento, California
- Job Type: Contract, full-time
- Schedule: 35-40 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Start Date: Late July or Mid-August, site-dependent
- End Date: End of May or End of June, site-dependent
- Age Group: Serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation and intervention services tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective therapy strategies
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support student communication growth and academic success
