Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

A contract position is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services during the current school year in the Guyton, GA area. This opportunity involves working primarily with pre-kindergarten through elementary students, with a caseload of approximately 50 students at a single school site. The role requires delivering individualized speech-language therapy to support students communication development within an educational setting.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Georgia SLP license required
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or School-based SLP credentials preferred
  • Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations highly desirable
  • Ability to manage a caseload and collaborate effectively with educators and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop treatment plans
  • Provide direct speech therapy services tailored to student needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to student individualized education programs (IEPs)
