  • Provide support for assigned electrical/wholesale distributor as the primary go-to contact for assistance.
  • Provide support for escalating issues/resolutions for Merchant or Sales Manager.
  • Ensure new items are created within distributor's portal in a timely manner with new product releases.
  • Reviewing all account's EDI orders, ensuring accurate pricing.while maintaining the supplier’s order portals.
  • Receiving and handling RGA requests or manual purchase orders for account
  • Assist in identifying applicable Halco products based on customer or sales manager request, providing customer’s identifying part numbers.
  • Proactively and productively solve problems and identify opportunities for distributor
  • Field customer calls.
  • Follow up on any open issues within account until they are handled to completion.
  • Respond in a timely and professional manner to any/all customer inquiries, questions, and/or concerns received.
  • Communicate with appropriate internal resources any potential new and/or add-on sales opportunities, and/or other information that might be relevant to the overall business.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager providing insights into sales trends to identify opportunities.
  • Participate in distributor trade shows as needed, representing Halco lighting.

Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum of four years of inside sales/sales support experience supporting an Electrical distributor
  • Commercial lighting experience a plus
  • Big Box fulfillment a plus
  • Extraordinary communication skills - written and oral
  • Problem solving skills - Solution focused with ability to diffuse negative outcomes
  • Relationship builder - Professional, friendly and courteous
  • Good at multi-tasking and keeping organized
  • Self-driven - Results oriented and goal focused
  • Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Office programs
  • Some travel required - 10%
