As an Outpatient surgery center Recovery Room Registered Nurse, you will contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for talented and dedicated professional for busy operating room facility with solid recovery room experience. Surgery usually occurs 4 days per week. Must be comfortable in an outpatient setting where you will be recovering patients who have had elective procedures including cosmetic surgeries and procedures.
30-40 hours per week on occasion OT is available
Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
*Responsible for patient care in facility and must be cross trained in all areas including Pre-Op and Recovery.
*Follow checklist for checking-in patient into the OR.
*Must be competent in inserting IV.
*Must be competent in sterile technique.
*If circulating, will be responsible for all necessary equipment and supplies for the case.
*Must complete all required documentation related to patient care which includes electronic and paper records.
*Responsible for managing the daily cleaning of the ASC facility area in between OR cases as well at the end of OR day.
*Prefer 2 years of experience but not necessary.
