Position: MRI Technologist\n\nPosition Summary:\n
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging on patients using advanced technical equipment and administering contrast materials as required. The role encompasses various essential functions, ensuring a high standard of patient care and operational excellence.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n

- Preparation: Prepare the scanning room and ensure the patient is ready for examination.
- Patient Interaction: Draw up IV contrast when necessary and administer oral contrast as indicated. Conduct patient interviews to screen for contraindications, explain procedures, and address any patient inquiries.
- Execution of Imaging: Transport patients to the examination room and assist with proper positioning. Administer appropriate IV contrast and perform scans with careful attention to detail, ensuring optimal image quality.
- Data Management: Mark patient orientations accurately and enter images in the correct order using a keypad.
- Documentation: Prepare clinical records for the radiologist, ensuring all information is complete and in the correct sequence, while providing any additional details as necessary.

\n\nRequirements:\n

- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience.
- Experience with Siemens MRI equipment is required.
- Associate Degree in a relevant field.
- Active MRI Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Completed reference forms from two supervisors within the last two years.

\n\nWork Schedule:\n
This position requires varied 8-hour shifts, including both afternoon and day shifts, with a guaranteed 40-hour work week. Additionally, there will be a requirement to work one weekend per month.
