Our organization operates Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) that offer:

As a therapy professional, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve functional improvements and enhance their quality of life in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct rehabilitation care in occupational therapy to patients based on physician referrals, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
  • Engage in community health initiatives and projects as appropriate.
  • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communications.
  • Act as a liaison with patients, families, and support departments, demonstrating knowledge of practices, procedures, and regulations governing post-acute care facilities.
  • Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Exhibit proficiency in all competency areas, including patient rights, safety, and sanitation.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all proprietary and sensitive information.
  • Understand and comply with organizational policies, including those related to harassment and compliance.
  • Demonstrate integrity and professionalism by adhering to the organization's Code of Conduct and completing required compliance training.
  • Oversee and evaluate the care provided by Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs), Rehabilitation Aides, and students.
  • Utilize therapy software accurately and effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language proficiently.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT).
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
