Rivers Bend PC provides outpatient therapy with integrity and excellent client care. We are a growing Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use therapy practice which provides the most innovative, evidence-based outpatient behavioral healthcare to all our clients and their families. Rivers Bend is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team of innovative professionals located in both Troy and West Bloomfield, Michigan. In this collaborative environment, we are seeking an experienced, collaborative and adaptable individual to manage all aspects of human resources tasks including but not limited to: recruitment/hiring, onboarding, employee file maintenance, benefit administration, handling employee concerns, processing payroll and offboarding staff.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years' of experience in human resources related field (or combination of education and experience)
  • Human Resources certification (PHR, SHRM-CP or higher)


Preferred but not required:

  • Experience in behavioral health field


Major Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment/hiring - creating job posting, posting job, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Onboarding staff requesting appropriate credentials for systems and equipment, scheduling training, communicating with newly hired staff and training team, collecting paperwork, etc.
  • Human Resources File Maintenance Collecting and uploading all human resources paperwork, performing audits on employee files, oversee and assure all employee reviews are completed and filed as necessary and any other updates to files as needed
  • Benefit administration support with benefit administration and coordinating with benefit provider on benefit questions or concerns for staff
  • Receiving and relaying employee concerns Provide anonymous option for employees to submit concerns
  • Payroll processing staff payroll and maintaining employee data in payroll processing platform.
  • Offboarding staff Removing employee credentials from systems, collecting equipment, processing benefits, etc.
