Position Overview
Southwest Breast & Aesthetics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinical team. The CMA plays a key role in supporting our surgeons and providers, ensuring patients receive outstanding care throughout their consultation, treatment, and recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and medications
- Assist physicians during patient consultations and in-office procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure all instruments and supplies are ready for procedures
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education and instructions
- Assist with documentation in the EMR system
- Coordinate with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient patient flow
- Manage clinical supplies and maintain clean, organized exam rooms
- Support patient follow-ups and assist with care coordination when needed
- Deliver an exceptional and compassionate patient experience
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credenital preferred
- 2+ years of clinical medical assisting experience preferred
- Experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, or surgical specialties is a plus
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay: $23–$25 per hour
