One Tech Engineering is searching for a Construction Supervisor for a position located in Hobbs, New Mexico. The Construction Supervisor provides quality and safety oversight of EPC construction with a primary focus on mechanical inspections and some civil inspections, using ArcGIS for inspection capture and reporting.
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 7+ years of mechanical/civil construction oversight (solar preferred).
Construction Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily field construction activities, conducting walk-downs with EPC partners and inspectors to ensure quality, compliance, and safety standards are met.
- Maintain a strong safety presence in a high-risk, field-based construction environment; enforce site safety protocols and promote a proactive safety culture.
- Perform and document inspections using mobile devices; complete and upload reports to the designated inspection platform.
- Coordinate and communicate regularly with EPC teams, site personnel, and internal stakeholders to support project execution.
- Attend and participate in daily planning meetings (e.g., Plan-of-Day meetings) and internal coordination huddles.
Requirements of the Construction Supervisor:
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical and/or civil construction oversight (solar experience preferred).
- Hands-on inspection experience with a strong commitment to safety and maintaining a positive safety culture.
- Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across EPC teams and site personnel.
- Demonstrated experience with ArcGIS and Procore.
- Strong background in solar, mechanical, and civil inspection scopes.
- Proven safety record and experience collaborating within EPC environments.
