About Elite Auto Transport Group
Elite Auto Transport Group is a growing logistics and transportation company specializing in reliable, compliant, and customer-focused auto transport services. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Office Assistant to support our executive team and daily office operations.
Position Summary
The Logistics Office Assistant will provide administrative, clerical, and operational support to company owners and executives. This role is critical to maintaining efficient office operations, supporting dispatch activities, ensuring compliance documentation is up to date, and assisting with contractor onboarding and safety processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Logistics Office Assistant’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Administrative & Clerical Support
Schedule and coordinate meetings, calls, and appointments for company executives
Manage and organize executive calendars
Prepare, format, and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and internal documents
Handle general office correspondence and administrative tasks as assigned
Dispatch & Operations Support
Assist with light dispatching duties as needed
Communicate with drivers, contractors, and independent operators regarding assignments and documentation
Contractor Onboarding & Compliance
Onboard contractors and independent operators
Verify insurance documents and maintain compliance records
Create and maintain Driver Qualification Files (DQFs)
Support safety and compliance initiatives in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
Financial & Mail Handling
Compile and organize mail delivered to the office
Deposit client checks into company business accounts accurately and promptly
General Support
Assist with safety compliance documentation and recordkeeping
Perform additional tasks and projects delegated by company owners and executives
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus
Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or office administration preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently
