Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Join a dynamic Interventional Radiology team in a leading medical center, providing expert imaging support with cutting-edge Siemens Systems. This travel opportunity in Kansas City, KS, offers the chance to apply your IR tech skills in a focused, team-oriented environment specializing in neuro and light body cases.

Position Highlights:

  • Location: University Medical Center, Kansas City, KS (Cambridge Unit)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10-hour day shifts
  • On-call: Late call from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, averaging once per week
  • Orientation: Comprehensive orientation sessions spanning multiple days
  • Contract Type: Travel assignment with bi-weekly pay

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality radiographic imaging in interventional radiology procedures utilizing Siemens Artis equipment
  • Collaborate closely with nursing and physician teams to support neurovascular cases and other interventional procedures
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout each procedure, ensuring adherence to facility protocols
  • Flexibly assist across IR rooms and float to Bell IR as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of IR tech experience with scrub capabilities; 3 years preferred
  • Prior work in a large hospital setting, with peripheral and neurovascular exposure highly desired
  • Current ARRT Radiography certification required
  • Must obtain Kansas State Board of Healing Arts licensure upon hire
