Position Highlights:
- Location: University Medical Center, Kansas City, KS (Cambridge Unit)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10-hour day shifts
- On-call: Late call from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, averaging once per week
- Orientation: Comprehensive orientation sessions spanning multiple days
- Contract Type: Travel assignment with bi-weekly pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality radiographic imaging in interventional radiology procedures utilizing Siemens Artis equipment
- Collaborate closely with nursing and physician teams to support neurovascular cases and other interventional procedures
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout each procedure, ensuring adherence to facility protocols
- Flexibly assist across IR rooms and float to Bell IR as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of IR tech experience with scrub capabilities; 3 years preferred
- Prior work in a large hospital setting, with peripheral and neurovascular exposure highly desired
- Current ARRT Radiography certification required
- Must obtain Kansas State Board of Healing Arts licensure upon hire
