- Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation – Physical Therapy Unit (hospital-based inpatient rehab)\n
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (5/26/2026 – 8/25/2026)\n
- Shift: Day shift, 5 x 8-hour shifts (08:00 – 16:30)\n
- Hours per Week: 40\n
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920 – $2,060 (estimated travel OT pay)\n
- Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics\n
- Typical Caseload: ~10 visits per day\n
\n\nJob Requirements – Occupational Therapist (OT)\n
- \n
- Minimum 1 year of recent Occupational Therapy experience in clinical settings (2 years preferred; CHT preferred)\n
- Active Occupational Therapist license (must be in hand before start date)\n
- BLS certification required\n
- Manual therapy and lymphedema management skills preferred\n
- Experience with charting systems / EMR required\n
- Two professional references required at time of submission\n
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)\n
- Must comply with facility’s zero-tolerance policy for marijuana\n
- 75-mile radius rule applies\n
\n\nKey Responsibilities – Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist (Inpatient)\n
- \n
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services in an inpatient rehabilitation (rehab OT) setting, including evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation\n
- Manage a caseload of approximately 10 visits per day focused on adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients\n
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical diagnoses\n
- Deliver therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, lymphedema management, and therapeutic exercise\n
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, adaptive strategies, and safety to support discharge planning\n
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT, respiratory therapy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy to optimize patient outcomes\n
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the charting/EMR system in line with facility and regulatory standards\n
- Participate in orientation (16 hours) and ongoing professional development to support best practices in inpatient rehabilitation\n
