Job Description

Our client, a well-established manufacturer in a regulated industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development, validation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes—particularly within injection molding and secondary operations. This role acts as a key technical liaison between internal teams and customers and is instrumental in ensuring efficient, compliant, and scalable production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate cost-effective manufacturing and post-molding processes
  • Create and maintain process maps and detailed work instructions
  • Lead pFMEA development and work-cell design/layout
  • Oversee transition of new products from engineering to full-scale production
  • Design, source, and implement fixtures, packaging, and labeling solutions
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal cross-functional teams
  • Participate in CAPA and MRB processes
  • Support cost analysis and capital expenditure justifications
  • Contribute to Lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts (Kaizen, Hoshin)
  • Train supporting staff and share best practices across teams
  • Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, and company standards



Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing engineering role
  • Strong experience in injection molding and secondary operations
  • Background in process development, DOE, and root cause analysis
  • Exposure to regulated environments (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA)
  • Assembly process knowledge preferred
  • ERP experience required (IQMS ideal)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and within cross-functional teams
