Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time special education teaching opportunity is ideal for an educator skilled in both math and special education, serving high school students in York, PA. This position is a non-school year (NSY) contract with an onsite schedule.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania teaching licensure in Math
- Valid Pennsylvania special education (SPED) licensure
- Department of Education (DOE) Pennsylvania clearances
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized math instruction tailored to high school students with diverse learning needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals and state standards
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjustment of teaching strategies as necessary
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
