Barista – Rivas Coffee, Cocktails & Kitchen

Location: 903 Studewood St Houston, TX

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality espresso drinks, coffee, teas, and specialty beverages according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Provide friendly, welcoming, and attentive customer service to every guest.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and workstations.
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to create an exceptional guest experience.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.

Qualifications

• Previous barista or coffee shop experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
• Passion for coffee and hospitality.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, dependable, and a strong team player.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
