Job DescriptionMinimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Applicants must hold a high school diploma or equivalent to be considered for the position. Previous experience working with children, students with special needs, or within a school setting is strongly preferred. Those who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

Blazer Jobs is partnering with school districts in San Francisco, CA, to hire dedicated School Paraprofessionals for the ESY/Summer School Program. State and Federal Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree or paraprofessional certification preferred
  • Compliance with California Department of Education and district hiring requirements
  • Background check and fingerprint clearance through Live Scan
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Job Description:

  • Assist teachers and support staff during ESY/Summer School programming
  • Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce academic and behavioral goals
  • Support students with special needs in classroom and school settings
  • Help maintain a structured, positive, and safe learning environment
  • Assist with classroom preparation, student supervision, and instructional activities
  • Provide behavioral and academic support under the direction of certified staff
