Schedule/Hours:

  • 7a-7p, 12-hour shifts
  • Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
  • Weekend rotation (every other)
  • 75% of major holidays
  • No on-call requirements

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • BLS and NRP certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on NICU experience
  • Competency in vent and central line management
  • Experience with tracheostomy, G-tube, gavage feeding, blood transfusions, and infant venous sticks
  • Strong knowledge of breastfeeding and bottle feeding support
  • Will consider first-time travelers

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional care to a diverse range of NICU patients
  • Manage complex pre- and post-surgical cases
  • Collaborate with dedicated Nursing Assistants, Charge RNs, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Float as needed to General Pediatrics, PICU, Adolescent Pediatrics, or Pediatric Hem/Onc
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for thorough documentation
  • Foster family support and patient-centered care
