Schedule/Hours:
- 7a-7p, 12-hour shifts
- Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
- Weekend rotation (every other)
- 75% of major holidays
- No on-call requirements
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- BLS and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on NICU experience
- Competency in vent and central line management
- Experience with tracheostomy, G-tube, gavage feeding, blood transfusions, and infant venous sticks
- Strong knowledge of breastfeeding and bottle feeding support
- Will consider first-time travelers
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care to a diverse range of NICU patients
- Manage complex pre- and post-surgical cases
- Collaborate with dedicated Nursing Assistants, Charge RNs, and interdisciplinary teams
- Float as needed to General Pediatrics, PICU, Adolescent Pediatrics, or Pediatric Hem/Onc
- Utilize EPIC EMR for thorough documentation
- Foster family support and patient-centered care
