Supply Chain Manager | Charlotte, MI

Salary Range: $91,000 - $138,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, cost, and quality in manufacturing.
Manage procurement processes, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations for raw materials and components.
Oversee inventory management across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to minimize waste and ensure production continuity.
Direct inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and transportation to meet production and delivery schedules.
Collaborate with production planning and operations to align material flow with manufacturing forecasts and capacity.
Monitor key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier disruptions, quality issues, and market fluctuations.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience (e.g., 5+ years) in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related engineering field.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning software.
Strong understanding of demand planning, inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

Advanced proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Experience with specific ERP module configuration or implementation (e.g., SAP MM/PP/SD).
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
