Data Quality Specialist
We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to join our Data Quality Assurance team as a Data Quality Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting audits of incoming data, researching housing court records, verifying accuracy, and collaborating with various departments to process data update requests. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, a quick learner, and willing to take on a variety of tasks to support the team.
Data Quality Specialist Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Onboard and integrate into CIC, including completion of the mandatory security and legal training.
- Carefully follow internal operational standards while processing research results with the utmost care and attention to detail, focusing on quality assurance.
- Conduct audits of incoming data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Research housing court records and verify the correctness of the information.
- Work cooperatively with internal teams, external researchers, and other departments to process data update requests efficiently.
- Assist the Consumer Relations team in investigating consumer disputes.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from various public record resources and submit findings to the team supervisor for final decisions.
- Support other teams and assist with general office tasks as needed.
Data Quality Specialist Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience working in an office environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manipulate and interpret data effectively.
- Prior experience with public records and legal terminology is a plus.
- Fast, proficient, and accurate keyboarding skills.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- High attention to detail and ability to interpret research data accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A quick learner, adaptable, and willing to take on a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
- Full-time position, starting at $20/hour.
- Paid vacation, holidays, sick leave, and a medical plan with a 100% company-paid premium.
- Dental, vision, and retirement plans also available.
- Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm EST at our Duluth office.
