Well known shop in the area is looking for a good machinist that can Setup/operate and read/edit G-Code. 1st Shift position is due to a long term employee moving with his family out of state
- This person will be running two turning centers in a cell environment.
- One lathe is a long bed lathe that runs larger parts, up to roughly 70" max. The 2nd lathe has live tooling and runs smaller parts up to roughly about 5" in diameter
- Candidate must be proficient in GD&T and have knowledge of steady rests and tail stock uses
Hours: 1st shift hours are from 630-3pm, not including OT. 45 or more hours a week is typical, which can be worked before or after the normal hours.
Starting pay: Mid-Upper $20's but can be more for the right person and skill set. Start accruing three weeks of vacation
