Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers for raw materials, components, and MRO items.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.
- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor supplier performance, addressing issues related to quality, delivery, and service.
- Collaborate with production and planning teams to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
- Identify and implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality or supply.
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and relevant industry regulations.
Recommended Qualifications
- Direct purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for procurement processes.
- Demonstrated strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, or engineering drawings.
- Solid understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics.
Bonus Qualifications
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with global sourcing strategies and international logistics.
- Proficiency with advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for spend analysis and forecasting.
- Demonstrated experience in supplier development and relationship management beyond transactional purchasing.
