Medical Director – Post‐Acute & Long‐Term Care

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Director to join a rapidly expanding, physician‐led multispecialty medical group focused on delivering high‐quality care across skilled nursing facilities in Washington, Alaska, Oregon, and Montana. Key Responsibilities
Administrative Leadership
- Serve as the Medical Director for designated skilled nursing facilities.
- Collaborate with the Regional Medical Director to execute clinical programs, standards, and quality initiatives.
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to medical staff.
- Work with facility leadership to enhance operational efficiency, quality of care, and compliance.
- Participate in quality improvement, regulatory readiness, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Clinical Duties
- Perform comprehensive examinations and manage patient care in post‐acute and long‐term care settings.
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
- Develop individualized, evidence‐based treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies appropriately.
- Complete timely documentation including histories, progress notes, and care plans.
- Educate patients, families, and facility staff on treatment plans and disease processes.
- Review labs, sign clinical documentation, and complete regulatory paperwork promptly.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
- Eligible for unrestricted medical license in one of the following states:
- Washington (WA)
- Alaska (AK) – High Priority
- Oregon (OR)
- Montana (MT) – High Priority
- DEA license and NPI (or eligibility to obtain).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
- Internal Medicine
- Family Medicine
- Geriatric Medicine
- General Practice
- Other relevant specialties may be considered
- Eligible for Medicare/Medicaid participation.
Education & Experience
- MD / DO / MBBS required.
