Marino is seeking an Assistant Account Executive to play a key supporting role on integrated account teams, helping to drive results for a diverse range of clients within our Real Estate & Property Innovation group. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a passion for communications, strong organizational skills, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

In addition to supporting core PR and media relations activities, the AAE will help serve as connective tissue across departments, ensuring smooth collaboration between our Creative Studio and Business Intelligence teams to bring strategic, well-executed campaigns to life.

Responsibilities

  • Account & Project Management
    • Track deliverables and ensure internal and external deadlines are met across multiple client accounts
    • Draft and circulate meeting agendas and recaps
    • Coordinate scheduling and provide general account administrative support
    • Begin liaising with clients on day-to-day action items with support from senior team members
    • Help facilitate cross-functional communication between PR, Creative, and Intelligence teams to support integrated deliverables
  • Media Relations
    • Monitor and compile client coverage; distribute internally and externally as directed
    • Manage the clipping process and create clip reports or books as needed
    • Build and maintain media lists tailored to client sectors and goals
    • Assist in managing editorial calendars and speaking opportunity trackers
    • Begin supporting outreach efforts, including pitching under supervision and managing media requests
    • Start cultivating relationships with relevant reporters
  • Writing & Content Creation
    • Draft media materials including press releases, pitch notes, bios, and talking points
    • Support content development for social media and assist in community engagement
    • Contribute ideas for creative storytelling and campaign messaging
  • Social Media
    • Draft compelling social media copy tailored to platform best practices and client voice
    • Assist in executing social media strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms
    • Help source or coordinate visual content (photos, graphics, video clips) with the Creative Studio
    • Monitor client social channels for engagement opportunities, trends, and community management needs
    • Track performance metrics and contribute to regular social media reporting
  • Research & Industry Knowledge
    • Conduct desktop research to support campaign strategy, competitor analysis, and media outreach
    • Stay current on client industries and relevant trends through trade publications and news monitoring
  • Strategy & Reporting
    • Assist in pulling data and insights for client reporting and presentations
    • Participate in brainstorms and contribute ideas for media angles, activations, and campaigns
  • Professional Development
    • Work with your manager to set growth goals and track professional development
    • Take initiative to learn new tools, platforms, and media relations best practices

Qualifications

  • 01 years of experience in PR, communications, or media (internships count!)
  • Exceptional writing and organizational skills
  • Interest in media, storytelling, and real estate, business, or emerging industries
  • Eagerness to learn and collaborate across teams
  • Experience with tools like Meltwater, Cision, Muck Rack, and social media platforms is a plus
