Position: Operating Room Technician - Surgical Technician
Salary Range: $1,344.00 - $1,728.00 weekly (base gross), based on a 40-hour work week (5 days of 8 hours each); equivalent to $33.60 – $43.20 per hour.
Assignment Duration: 12 weeks
Shifts Available: Full Time - Variable
Location: Redding, CA

Key Responsibilities
- Become a part of a dynamic surgical tech team.
- We are looking for an experienced Travel OR Technician for a 12-week role in a fast-paced perioperative environment.
- Prepare and organize sterile instruments and supplies for designated surgical procedures.
- Maintain the sterile field during each surgical case.
- Assist the surgeon by anticipating needs and providing sterile instruments and supplies during operations.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience required for new hires as of April 2014.
- Completion of an OR Technician training program or equivalent on-the-job training with a minimum of 3 years of experience (preferably in a surgical environment).
- Experience in scrubbing for both minor and major procedures across general surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, General, and Plastics).
- Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialized surgical areas (e.g., orthopedic, neurological, ENT, urology, etc.).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA upon hire, with maintenance of certification required.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an OR Technician is mandatory.
Compensation Transparency
Our organization provides competitive pay, with an estimated hourly rate ranging from $33.60 to $43.20 for this role. This estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for other locations. The final compensation offered will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
