Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunity for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a passion for supporting students from pre-K through 12th grade in a dynamic, contract-based role. This position offers a unique floater schedule for the next school year, providing services across multiple sites with a focus on adaptability and impactful hands-on care.

You’ll collaborate with licensed occupational therapists and educational teams, making a real difference in the lives of students with diverse needs. Expect a varied setting, as you'll provide coverage at several schools throughout the week, ensuring students receive exceptional support wherever it’s needed most.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license valid in Massachusetts
Previous experience within school-based or pediatric settings preferred
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to varying environments and caseloads
Flexibility to travel between assigned school sites as scheduled
Team-oriented mindset, with a strong commitment to student success

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students, following individual education plans (IEPs)
Implement treatment activities, monitor student progress, and document outcomes
Assist in providing adaptive strategies and modifications for classroom and school routines
Collaborate with OTs, teachers, and families to support each student’s goals
Rotate between multiple schools on a weekly schedule, ensuring continuity of care
