Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunity for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a passion for supporting students from pre-K through 12th grade in a dynamic, contract-based role. This position offers a unique floater schedule for the next school year, providing services across multiple sites with a focus on adaptability and impactful hands-on care.

You’ll collaborate with licensed occupational therapists and educational teams, making a real difference in the lives of students with diverse needs. Expect a varied setting, as you'll provide coverage at several schools throughout the week, ensuring students receive exceptional support wherever it’s needed most.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license valid in Massachusetts
  • Previous experience within school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to varying environments and caseloads
  • Flexibility to travel between assigned school sites as scheduled
  • Team-oriented mindset, with a strong commitment to student success

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students, following individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Implement treatment activities, monitor student progress, and document outcomes
  • Assist in providing adaptive strategies and modifications for classroom and school routines
  • Collaborate with OTs, teachers, and families to support each student’s goals
  • Rotate between multiple schools on a weekly schedule, ensuring continuity of care
