Job Description
A growing healthcare services organization is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to support individuals in navigating access to care and related assistance programs. This role plays a key part in coordinating communication between patients, providers, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate, and supportive service.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in healthcare support or patient-facing roles, particularly those with a pharmacy technician or insurance verification background, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients throughout the support and coordination process
- Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, pharmacies, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of requests
- Verify eligibility and assist with enrollment in applicable assistance programs
- Document all interactions, case updates, and communications accurately in the CRM system
- Track open cases, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure timely completion of required steps
- Provide high-quality customer service while managing multiple active cases
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with program guidelines and service standards
- Assist with gathering, reviewing, and submitting required documentation
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare support, patient services, insurance verification, or related roles
- Pharmacy technician experience or familiarity with pharmacy workflows strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience working in CRM or case management systems preferred
- Reliable, organized, and service-oriented mindset
