The Greer Group is seeking a Medical Administrative Support Associate (Part-Time) for a Women's Health client in Raleigh, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare administrative professional seeking a flexible part-time schedule within a collaborative Women's Health practice.
Summary:
The Medical Administrative Support Associate will provide administrative support to the practice by managing documentation, coordinating office operations, and assisting with various healthcare-related administrative functions. This role will help alleviate administrative responsibilities currently managed by clinical staff, allowing them to focus on patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Process prior authorizations.
- Manage FMLA, disability, and other medical leave paperwork.
- Complete administrative documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Support providers and staff with general office operations.
- Assist with workflow coordination and administrative projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of required forms and documentation.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Schedule:
Preferred Schedule
- Four days per week
- Approximately 20 hours per week
Alternate Schedule
- Three longer days per week
Responsibilities:
- Process prior authorizations.

- Ensure timely and accurate completion of required forms and documentation.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Previous administrative support experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic systems
Preferred:
- Medical office experience.
- Prior authorization experience.
- Experience processing FMLA, disability, and Workers' Compensation paperwork.
- Experience working within an EMR system.
- Athena EMR experience is a plus.
