What You’ll Do as a Lab Technician
As a key player in our Quality Control team, you’ll help ensure our materials meet the highest standards of excellence. Your work keeps our products strong, safe, and built to last!
- Test and inspect aggregate and asphalt to meet PennDOT, AASHTO, and customer standards
- Communicate with plant teams to ensure accuracy and top-quality shipments
- Maintain detailed reports for state and customer compliance
- Jump in to support lab and production needs as they arise
What You Bring to the Team
We’re looking for someone who is curious, committed, and ready to contribute:
- 1–2 years of lab experience preferred
- NECEPT Level 1 certification required
- Aggregate Technician certification = a big plus!
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently and manage priorities with ease
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office
- Willing to work overtime during peak seasons
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role fits someone who enjoys both lab and hands-on work:
- Indoor/outdoor environment — rain or shine, we get the job done
- Ability to walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate equipment or machinery
- Safety is our #1 priority — always
Position Details
Status: Full-Time | FLSA: Non-Exempt | Reports To: Quality Control Leadership
