Job Summary

The Medical Receptionist at MedCenter is the "face" of the clinic. They are responsible for welcoming patients, managing the scheduling system, and handling the administrative aspects of medical visits, including payments and documentation.

Schedule:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8am - 5:30pm
  • Saturday 8am - 2pm

Pay:

  • Overtime pay
  • 100 hours of PTO annually

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Interaction: Greet patients arriving for laboratory tests or clinical consultations; provide information regarding medical services, pricing, and preparation for specific tests.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments via the internal clinic management system.
  • Administrative Tasks: Register patient data accurately in the database; manage medical records and ensure confidentiality (GDPR compliance).
  • Financial Handling: Process payments (cash/card), issue invoices and receipts, and close the daily cash register.
  • Coordination: Act as a liaison between patients and medical staff (doctors, nurses, and lab technicians) to ensure timely consultations.
  • Insurance Verification: (If applicable) Verify patient eligibility for services covered by the National Health Insurance House (CNAS).

Requirements (Candidate Profile)

  • Education: High school diploma (minimum); post-secondary or university degree is an advantage.
  • Skills: * Proficiency in PC operation (MS Office, clinic management software).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a medical setting or customer service is preferred but not always mandatory for entry-level roles.
