Job DescriptionThe Science Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for “LAB Technician II”.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and experiments on industrial products, following established protocols and procedures.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment used for preparation and testing of abrasive samples.
- Prepare and characterize samples and resins according to prescribed formulations and test methods, adhering to strict safety guidelines.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data accurately and efficiently.
- Document and report test results, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain clean and safe lab space and equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting (private, public, academic, government, or military).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong technical or mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with pilot or production manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling practices.
- Associate degree, technical degree, or higher in a relevant science or engineering field (e.g., Chemistry, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering).
Additional Information:
Location: Maplewood, MN
Contract Length: 12 Months
Pay range: $22-$25/hr. on W2
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
