Job Title: O.R. Technician (CST) – Contract

Location: Brooklyn, NY (11234)

Assignment Details:

Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 5 days per week | 40 hours per week
Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Gross Weekly Pay: $1960/week

Position Summary: The Operating Room Technician (Certified Surgical Technologist – CST) supports surgical teams by preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting surgeons and nurses during procedures to ensure safe and efficient surgical care.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms with required instruments, equipment, and supplies
Maintain sterile field and adhere to aseptic techniques throughout procedures
Assist surgeons by passing instruments and anticipating procedural needs
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and disposal of surgical instruments and materials
Monitor and maintain surgical equipment and report malfunctions as needed
Support patient positioning, skin preparation, and draping
Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines

Requirements & Qualifications:

Current CST certification required
Graduate of an accredited/certified Surgical Technology program
Minimum two (2) years of recent operating room experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
Physical stamina, manual dexterity, and ability to stand for extended periods and perform OR duties
