Job Description

COMPANY

Our client is the CEO of multiple high-performing companies. One is a tech start-up, and the other is a venture capital firm. Both companies focus on promoting economic opportunities and development, through utilizing AI. Our client is hard working, family focused, and faith oriented.

BASIC FUNCTION

Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Executive Assistant to the CEO serves as a strategic partner and operational extension of the executive office. This individual is responsible for managing the CEO’s day-to-day priorities, optimizing time and focus, and ensuring seamless execution across a wide range of business and personal commitments.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role requiring exceptional judgment, discretion, and the ability to operate independently. The position goes beyond traditional administrative support—this individual will anticipate needs, solve problems before they arise, and act as a central point of coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring structure to ambiguity, maintain alignment across competing priorities, and enable the CEO to operate at peak effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary point of support for the CEO, managing daily priorities and ensuring alignment with organization objectives
  • Act as a gatekeeper and strategic partner, prioritizing communications, meetings, and requests
  • Prepare the CEO for meetings, including agendas, briefing materials, and follow-ups
  • Own and manage a complex, high0volume calendar across business and personal commitments
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, logistics, and itineraries
  • Build and maintain systems for task tracking, prioritization, and workflow management
  • Handle highly sensitive business and personal information with the utmost discretion
  • Exercise sound judgment in decision-making, communication, and prioritization
  • Represent the CEO with professionalism and credibility in all interactions

CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS SOUGHT

  • Purpose-Oriented: Energized by meaningful work and thrives in a mission-focused environment with a broad, global impact.
  • Ethical Judgment: Consistently demonstrates strong integrity, sound decision-making, and professionalism; communicates with honesty and represents the organization and family with care and discretion.
  • Proactive Mindset: Takes initiative to identify challenges, pursue learning opportunities, and implement solutions without needing constant direction.
  • Ownership & Reliability: Follows through on responsibilities, honors commitments, and delivers work that meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Effective Collaboration: Communicates clearly and works well across teams, building strong relationships to drive shared outcomes and maintain a supportive work culture.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of experience supporting C-level executives or senior leadership
  • Proven experience managing complex calendars, travel, and executive workflows
  • Experience operating in high-growth, fast-paced, or entrepreneurial environments preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional coordination and executive-level priorities
  • Proficiency with productivity tools, scheduling platforms, and communication systems
