Job DescriptionLHH is actively seeking an HR Operations Analyst for one of our top clients in Indianapolis! This will be a contract opportunity with our client and will be hybrid to their HQ in Indianapolis.
Strategy & Transformation Analyst
The Strategy & Transformation Analyst supports global geo-expansion and transformation initiatives that enable scalable, compliant, and efficient operational readiness in new markets. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams-including HR, Payroll, Legal, Finance, IT, and Benefits-to support program governance, operational execution, and data-driven decision making.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical, operational, and stakeholder management skills, helping the organization successfully launch and scale operations in new geographies while aligning with enterprise strategy and governance frameworks.
Success in this role will be defined by the ability to manage transformation initiatives, deliver insights through data and reporting, improve operational processes, and ensure readiness for global expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Transformation
- Support the planning and execution of global geo-expansion and transformation initiatives aligned with enterprise strategy.
- Contribute to the development of scalable frameworks and governance models for launching operations in new markets.
- Partner with leadership to help define business cases, strategic rationale, and measurable outcomes for expansion programs.
Operational Readiness & Program Management
- Coordinate operational readiness across key functions including HR, Payroll, Benefits, Legal, Compliance, and IT.
- Track program milestones, risks, dependencies, and overall progress.
- Assist in developing project roadmaps, execution plans, and governance structures.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure timely follow-up on deliverables.
Data, Reporting & Insights
- Develop and maintain scorecards, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor geo-expansion performance.
- Analyze operational data and generate insights to support leadership decision-making.
- Deliver regular program updates, reporting, and performance reviews to senior stakeholders.
- Conduct forecasting, scenario planning, and impact analysis for expansion initiatives.
Process Optimization & Transformation
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scalability, efficiency, and compliance.
- Support the development of standardized frameworks, tools, and templates for transformation programs.
- Recommend automation or technology solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Build strong relationships with global and regional stakeholders.
- Support business leaders and program sponsors with insights and operational coordination.
- Prepare presentations, updates, and executive communications.
- Collaborate across functions to ensure alignment and successful program delivery.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure programs adhere to governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards.
- Support steering committees and governance forums.
- Track and document key decisions, risks, and program outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in project or program management, ideally supporting transformation or global expansion initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience working in cross-functional and global environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience building reports, dashboards, and tracking performance metrics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Finance, HR, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Business Operations, Strategy, Consulting, or Transformation roles.
- Experience supporting global HR, Payroll, or enterprise transformation programs.
- Familiarity with global compliance, employment practices, or operational readiness.
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, or similar systems.
- Exposure to consulting methodologies, process improvement, or change management frameworks.

Pay Details: $29.00 to $32.00 per hour
