Job Opportunity – CVICU RN – South Texas

Start Date: January 13, 2026
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00am–7:30pm / 7:00pm–7:30am, rotating weekends, 36 guaranteed hours per week

Highlights:

• 13 or 26-week assignment in a state-of-the-art cardiovascular intensive care unit
• Work with advanced cardiac support devices including IABP, Impella, and ECMO
• Meditech documentation system
• No call requirements
• Post-CABG, post-VAD, and post-cardiac catheterization patient population
• Float rotation per facility policy

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Strong critical thinking and hemodynamic monitoring skills (Swan-Ganz catheters, arterial lines)
• Ventilator management experience
• IABP, CRRT, and Meditech experience preferred
