We are a general dentistry office located in western Hanover County seeking a full-time chairside dental assistant to support a solo practitioner. Our practice offers a wide range of general dentistry services to patients of all ages, focusing primarily on restorative and reconstructive procedures. The ideal candidate will have some prior experience and a commitment to infection control and patient care in a moderate-volume setting (6-12 patients per day). This role presents opportunities for on-the-job skill development within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist chairside during restorative and general dental procedures
- Prepare patients and set up instruments and materials for procedures
- Sterilize and organize dental instruments following infection control protocols
- Support dental imaging processes as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience or completion of associates degree in dental assisting.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Radiation Health and Safety Certification
- CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Dentrix
