Key Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
- Experience in a school or pediatric nursing environment preferred
- Familiarity with K-12 student health needs, including medication administration, chronic condition management, and first aid
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, families, and school personnel
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach and ability to work independently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee health services for K-12 students enrolled in the ESY program, ensuring the safe and supportive management of medical needs
- Administer medications, perform assessments, respond to emergencies, and provide basic first aid
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with school policies and regulations
- Collaborate with educators and parents to promote student wellness and address individual health plans
- Educate students and staff on preventative health measures as needed
Contract Details & Work Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday, 8AM – 2PM (22 hours per week)
- Support provided to ESY program participants across grade levels
