Construction Scheduler
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Construction Scheduler to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to develop, maintain, and manage construction schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while effectively coordinating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information for scheduling.
- Monitor progress and performance against the schedule, reporting any deviations or potential delays.
- Utilize critical path method (CPM) for effective scheduling and resource allocation.
- Conduct risk analysis to identify potential scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare regular updates and reports on the status of the project schedule for stakeholders.
- Assist in construction planning and time management to optimize project flow.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Scheduler or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and familiarity with Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and scheduling techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on time management.
- Experience with resource allocation and management in construction projects.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
