OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful, prestigious Manhattan private school who is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for children from 8-10 years old.
Salary - $75,000-$85,000, depending on experience
Excellent benefits package – Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K
Hours – Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. This position also offers a Part-Time schedule as well.
Responsibilities for the Occupational Therapist:
· Evaluate students needs for occupational therapy
· Provide therapy to students
· Compile daily session notes
· Execute progress reports and IEPs
· Work with families and school staff
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:
· Must have a valid and current license and/or certification to practice in New York State
· Ability to provide your National Provider Identification (NPI) number
· Must have prior experience working with children with special needs
· Highly skilled in the IEP process
· Ability to work with parents, teachers and faculty
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must be able to provide 2 employment references
