Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Description
Our advanced imaging facility is seeking a friendly, compassionate, and highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our growing team.
We are looking for someone who truly enjoys caring for patients, communicates clearly, and takes pride in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and an exceptional patient experience.
The ideal candidate is dual certified in Nuclear Medicine and CT, experienced in PET/CT imaging, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient imaging center.
Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred due to our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform PET/CT, general nuclear medicine, and cardiac stress imaging studies according to established protocols
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
• Start IV access, including patients with difficult venous access
• Provide a friendly, compassionate, and patient-focused experience throughout the imaging process
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, referring physicians, and clinical staff
• Complete all required clinical documentation and imaging workflows accurately
• Review prior imaging and assist radiologists when additional information is needed
• Collaborate with fellow technologists and staff to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety and regulatory guidelines
• Thrive in a high-volume outpatient imaging environment
Qualifications
• NMTCB or ARRT (N) – Nuclear Medicine certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Nuclear Medicine / PET imaging preferred
• Active Florida State License or eligibility
• Strong IV skills and patient care experience
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
