Job DescriptionJob Summary: The Fall&nbsp;Manufacturing Engineer Co-op will assist the Manufacturing Engineering Department with production activities. Primary work involves using SolidWorks CAD software to design tools and fixtures for manufacturing. Minimum Qualifications: &nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Education: Student enrolled in a four-year degree program, majoring in Engineering who has &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;completed their freshman year of college.</li>
<li>Experience: Working knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software.</li>
<li>Must be willing to work 3 or more rotating semesters.</li>
</ul>
 Other functions include: &nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Tooling and production method development</li>
<li>Material storage analysis and improvement</li>
<li>Collection and analysis of labor / machinery productivity and efficiency data</li>
<li>Machine tool set up reduction</li>
</ul>
 Preferred Qualifications: &nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.</li>
<li>Experience in or knowledge of metal cutting</li>
<li>Experience in or knowledge of metal cutting processes / machinery.</li>
