An exciting opportunity awaits for a qualified professional in a dynamic educational environment. This position focuses on providing specialized support to students with diverse needs in an elementary setting.

Details:

  • Pay rate: Starts at $36
  • Location: Jaffrey, NH
  • Schedule: 35 hours/wk (5 days)
  • Duration: August 4, 2025, to May 31, 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to facilitate an inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor students progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
  • Provide direct support to students with intensive needs, including assistance with toileting and wheelchair transfers.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and strategies for success.
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New Hampshire Special Education License.
  • Experience working with young children, particularly in kindergarten or first-grade settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of various special education methodologies and best practices.
