Job Description
The Foreman/Assistant Superintendent role is integral to supporting on-site construction operations for various projects including schools, hotels, and commercial buildings. This position emphasizes new construction, renovations, and managing operations within occupied facilities. The role involves assisting in daily field activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Responsibilities
- Support daily jobsite supervision and coordinate subcontractors.
- Assist with new construction, renovation, and phased construction in occupied buildings.
- Maintain short-term schedules and track production effectively.
- Enforce site safety programs and conduct field inspections.
- Assist with quality control, punch lists, and inspections.
- Coordinate inspections, shutdowns, and after-hours work.
- Maintain daily reports, photos, and field documentation.
Essential Skills
- 3–7 years of commercial construction field experience.
- Experience with schools, hotels, or occupied commercial renovations.
- Ability to read plans, manage sequencing, and coordinate trades.
- OSHA training.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with summer school or hotel construction and renovations.
- Proficiency in using computer systems.
- Flexibility to work 6 days a week and 10-hour shifts.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
