Legacy Talent Search is hiring Shipping/Warehouse Clerk in Eugene. This company has built an excellent name for itself over the years and has grown to be a leader in its industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and stock organization.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials and products.
- Work closely with logistics and production teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality control guidelines (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP).
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Track and document shipping/receiving transactions in company systems.
- Assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and production efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in food manufacturing or distribution.
- Ability to lift [X] lbs and work in a cold storage environment if required.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, barcode scanners, and shipping software.
- Experience operating forklifts and material-handling equipment (certification a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality control and food safety procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
