Job DescriptionQuality Assurance Technician: Orangeville, IllinoisOur client in Orangeville, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team at their production facility to help produce higher quality food and beverage products for their customers. As a member of the Quality Control Team, you will perform routine bacteriological and chemical testing on blended and spray-dried products. You’ll collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards and provide support to the QA Lead and Manager in their absence.Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Technician:

• Maintain control and organization of all original Quality documents.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of Quality policies and procedures on an ongoing basis.
• Perform and document testing of products for physical, chemical, and bacteriological parameters.
• Accurately interpret, record, and communicate testing results.
• Review production paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and traceability.
• Prepare product samples for customers and external laboratory testing.
• Identify and report quality or safety issues to the QA Manager promptly.
• Assist the QA Manager with food safety audits, SOP reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support lab operations and perform additional document or testing-related duties as assigned

Quality Assurance Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred within Food Science, Safety, or Quality Management.
• Minimum 1 year food production experience.
• Ability to read and interpret quality assurance and compliance regulations.
• Advanced mathematical skills including basic algebra and statistics.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay for Quality Assurance Technician:Starting at $20-$22/hour.Quality Assurance TechnicianBenefits:
