Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed startup redefining its industry. They are seeking a Founding Account Executive to join their team in New York. This is a rare opportunity for a high-agency sales professional to join at the ground floor and play a pivotal role in driving the next phase of growth.
In this role, you won't just be following a script, you will be building the script. You will act as both a closer and a builder, running end-to-end deals while simultaneously refining the company’s sales motion alongside the founders. If you have a bias for action and thrive in high-stakes, "zero-to-one" environments, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle Sales: Own the entire sales process for mid-market and enterprise opportunities, from initial discovery to closing.

Strategic Sourcing: Proactively source and develop new opportunities, including high-level partnerships and outbound enterprise motions.

Account Expansion: Drive revenue growth within existing accounts through strategic upsells and multi-product adoption.

Strategic Collaboration: Partner directly with the founders to iterate on messaging, pricing structures, and overall market positioning.

Building the Playbook: Help define, document, and operationalize the sales playbook for future hires.
Requirements:

Experience: 4–8 years of successful B2B SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding quotas.

Mindset: High agency and a "builder" mentality. You are comfortable with ambiguity and excited about creating processes from scratch.

Communication: Exceptional storytelling and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex enterprise deals.
Presence: Must be able to work 5 days a week on-site in the New York, NY office.
