Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialty pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support their Grand Rapids, MN location for a contract assignment of 13+ weeks. This role offers a unique blend of retail and long-term care pharmacy duties, providing an opportunity to apply diverse skills in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and verify prescriptions accurately for retail and long-term care patients
- Manage medication therapy and provide patient counseling in both settings
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Participate in immunization administration as part of patient care services
- Assist with rotating weekend shifts as needed
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current pharmacy license in Minnesota
- PharmD degree preferred; MTM certification is a plus
- Immunization certification and CPR certification required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy practice
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
- Possible rotating weekends
