Job Description Accounts Payable Coordinator Kansas City, MO | Fully Onsite Full-Time | Contract| up to $28ph. LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a long-term client who is seeking a detail?oriented Temporary Accounts Payable (AP) Coordinator to support day?to?day accounting operations in a fast?paced environment. This role will assist with invoice processing, vendor communications, and general AP functions while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process high volumes of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receive documentation (2?way/3?way matching)
  • Assist with weekly or bi?weekly check runs and electronic payments
  • Respond to vendor inquiries via phone and email
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized and accurate AP records and files
  • Enter data and update information within accounting systems
  • Support month?end close and audit requests as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous accounts payable or accounting support experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working in a high?volume, deadline?driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting systems
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
